We want a meal with some of our favorite dishes, but beyond the food itself, we’d all like a lively atmosphere, a clean environment, and to be somewhere where we and our family and friends can enjoy ourselves. So, here are the top spots in Cary and Morrisville, NC, that’ll make sure your birthday dinner is all you imagined it to be. Firebirds Wood Fired Grill

Great food and atmosphere that makes for a fine but casual dining environment. We recommend trying their “Filet and Shrimp”, a 9oz filet cooked medium-rare (all of their filets are bacon-wrapped) along with 6 skewered shrimp grilled to perfection on their wood-fired grill. They age and cut all their steaks in-house. Expect great flavor and a dish grilled over a wood fire.

Babymoon Cafe

100 Jerusalem Dr, Morrisville, NC 27560

Don’t be fooled by Babymoon’s title as a cafe. This spot is a favorite lunch and dinner go-to for Morrisville locals. They provide “cozy upscale dining from brown-bag to black-tie.” Their delicious homemade meals include a variety of pizzas, pasta, seafood, steaks, salads, and more. They take great pride in “the Italian culinary tradition.”

Lugano Ristorante

1060 Darrington Dr, Cary, NC 27513

Lugano is the epitome of “comfy, laid-back Italian dining.” They strive to provide each guest with a “memorable dining experience filled with pastas and salad.” They’re open six days a week for lunch and dinner. They accept reservations at lunch and dinner for all party sizes.

Paolo’s On 54

Paolo’s On 54 is an authentic Italian restaurant “specializing in all of your favorite traditional Italian cuisine dishes.” Their whole menu is prepared and cooked on-site using “traditional recipes and fresh produce” from nearby sources. Flavors Kitchen is a fantastic addition to the food scene in the Triangle, specifically Morrisville. The Asian Fusion kitchen delivers an amazing experience. You’ll feel welcomed from the moment you walk in to the moment that you leave. The small dining room is neat, clean, and modern in terms of décor. The prices are notably affordable considering the high quality of the food. 

Cracker Barrel Old Country Store

955 Airport Blvd, Morrisville, NC 27560

Cracker Barrel offers guests “quality, fairly priced homestyle food, and unique shopping—with a side of unmatchable hospitality.” They strive to bring value, convenience, and variety to their menu—whether an iced drink to round out a dish from their all-day breakfast, a healthier variation of a homestyle favorite, or one of their beloved staples, including chicken n’ dumplins.

Inchin’s Bamboo Garden
