Take a Trip to the Wild Side at High Gravity Adventures Zip Line Park

(The Triangle Trend) — Got an off weekend or day off coming up? We can’t think of a better way to spend it than in beautiful Blowing Rock, NC, soaring over a gorgeous valley on a 1000-foot zipline with an optional 70-foot free-fall experience. It’s not as crazy as it sounds.

At High Gravity Adventures Zip Line & Aerial park, you have the option to explore over 75 unique aerial challenges, including climbing and rappelling. Better yet, there’s sky-high fun for all ages so the whole family can try something new. Disney World, who?

Even if you’re afraid of heights, the professional zip-lining guides at High Gravity are more than willing to calm your nerves and explain just how safe the process truly is. All of the attendants are knowledgeable about safety. The park is very eco-friendly and responsibly run, and you can look forward to really clean facilities and bathrooms.

The obstacle course here is quite intense so be prepared to face your fears in a fun and safe way. If you’re going more for the experience of doing obstacles 50 ft in the air, rather than getting an intense full-body workout, then this is definitely the place for you. On their aerial courses, they offer all levels of difficulty for daredevils and more mild thrill-seekers alike.

Their zip lines are well-laid and have gorgeous views. At the end, you have the option to be lowered down, or you can step off the platform with a controlled free fall device. Most guests recommend the free fall as it’s a total adrenaline rush!

Interactions with staff at all levels (booking, arrival, ground training, ziplining) are friendly, energetic, and humorous. For your first or hundredth experience ziplining, you’ll be glad you chose HGA. The whole experience is top quality.

All their operations have undergone a few changes due to COVID-19. Primary zip tours are now limited to 4 people. They may be able to accommodate larger groups on a limited basis. Call 828-386-622 for details.

Face coverings are mandatory for all guests and guides participating in the High Altitude Zip Line Tour. All onsite transactions will be credit or debit card only. Waivers should be completed online prior to your arrival.

Their best value deal is The Ultimate Adventure (Climb and Zip) 2 in 1 Adventure offering $29 in savings. It is priced at $89 Per Person, and each individual must be between 75-265 lbs in weight.
