Safe Fun at Kings Dining & Entertainment

(The Triangle Trend) — Looking for a night of fun? Kings Dining & Entertainment in Raleigh offers the perfect venue of safe, socially distanced fun for all ages.

This center of traditional American fun and dining is currently open Tuesdays through Fridays from 2 PM to 9 PM and Saturdays and Sundays from 11 AM to 9 PM. They’re closed on Mondays.

Don’t miss out on Kings all-you-can-play arcade Wednesday and Thursday. There are plenty of sanitizer wipes and hand sanitizer out for guests to use. During your visit, you’ll spot the staff spraying benches and wiping down the bowling balls. Every other lane is closed so you and your party will have plenty of room.

Kings has about a dozen lanes for bowling and a small arcade. There are also three bars with sitting areas and a restaurant. Kings definitely has a more mature atmosphere, so if you’re wanting to avoid families this place may work. And aesthetically it’s pretty awesome. However, If you are looking for some good family fun place to go, then this is also the place for you. After all, what kids wouldn’t love bowling, mac & cheese, and chicken wings?

Numerous guests have praised Kings for their great atmosphere, with fast service at the table and at the bar. Prices are a little high for food and drinks, but worth it.

If you’re planning on a bowling trip, know that there’s a 5 person per lane limit and the price varies by time. On Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays, bowling is $16 per person. On Fridays and Saturdays, bowling is $18 per person before 6 PM and $23 per person after 6 PM. How long your bowling session lasts depends on how large your party is. 1-2 players can reserve a lane for 60 minutes. 3-4 Players can reserve a lane for 75 minutes. 5 players can reserve a lane for 90 minutes.

Aside from bowling, the games currently available at Kings North Hills are:

A single game costs $2 to play. Oh, and did someone say 1/2 priced apps? Join Kings on weekdays (Fridays included!) until 6PM to indulge in your favorite appetizers and free arcade games. Find all promotions on their website and make a reservation!

For the authentic Kings experience, consider making a “Dine Then Bowl” reservation. A limited number of Dine Then Bowl reservations are available each night, but ensure you’ll have an opportunity to experience both their upscale dining and bowling. Dine Then Bowl is ideal for groups looking for the “all-out” Kings experience inclusive of sit-down dining, priority bowling and unlimited games. Once your party finishes dining, you’ll be given a priority spot on one of their luxury bowling lanes! 

If the idea of reserving a lane is appealing to you but not so much the dining part, then definitely make sure to check out Kings Lane Reservation amenity. All you have to do is reserve your time slot, show up with your party, and get straight to bowling. You can either reserve a “Dine Then Bowl” or reserve a lane for 100% free. 

Now for what you’ve probably been waiting for. What exactly is Kings doing to ensure your safety during COVID-19?

Before starting a shift, all members of staff must receive a wellness check. All team members must also wear face masks while working. They’ve implemented social distancing practices throughout their venue including the removal of tables and closure of every other bowling lane. You’ll also have increased access to hand sanitizer and have the choice of either using a digital menu or disposable menus. They’ve designated specific team members to sanitize arcade games, bowling balls, ball returns, shoes, and scoring terminals after a party is done with them. Call ahead to find out if any games are temporarily closed to adhere with six feet apart social distancing. The billiard tables will also be cleaned between use. Balls and cue sticks are also being sanitized between use and stored behind the host desk. And you can rest assured that all lanes are being cleaned with CDC-approved products prior to the entry of a new party.
