(The Triangle Trend) — Every year, like many families in the Triangle, the Goldmans decorate their house with thousands of lights and accompanying music for the Christmas holiday. This year, however, the Goldmans have added another show to the lineup for the neighborhood: a Halloween light show. This Friday and Saturday evenings, the Goldmans of 6331 Deerview Drive in Raleigh will be casting a spell with their Halloween decorations for everyone to see.
You can take the family, drive by, park, and be mesmerized by the scene for a safe and sweet alternative for celebrating Halloween. The music will be transmitted via their radio station, so between 5 PM and 11 PM, tune into WGFL 90.9 FM. Best of all? It’s free!
While enjoying the show, please be mindful and considerate of the Goldman family and their neighbors, especially on Halloween night amid trick-or-treaters.
“This was a last-minute decision to do and it’s based off of our Christmas display,” said Annie Goldman. “I decided to do a Halloween display to give people something fun and safe to do for a few nights in October. I know how tough it’s been not having much to do, so we put together a scaled-down setup with six full songs and some scary sounds too. We have a graveyard with a cute dragon overlooking it.” In addition to the graveyard, the decorated trees will light up in sync to the music and sounds of thunder.
