Zweli’s is located in the same shopping center as El Chapin which is quickly becoming a hot spot for underrated ethnic foods. They specialize in Zimbabwean food—all at affordable prices. While you’ll hear most people talk about their delicious Piri Piri chicken, expect to also be impressed by the sides and the diversity of their menu. There are tons of vegan and vegetarian options for your dining pleasure.

Mama Voula’s is an authentic Greek food truck you’ll spot throughout the Triangle. Expect to be blown away by their pitas. Their veggies are fresh, and their pitas are expertly toasted. Don’t even get us started on the tsatsiki. Diners can look forward to a quick, delicious meal paralleling those served in Athens.
Food Truck Serving the RTP Area
Arepa Culture is a family-owned and operated food truck serving up fantastic arepas around the area. Expect to be warmly greeted at the truck and tempted by the lure of their best-selling La Tica. The price for one arepa is a bit steep at $6 but you can order two for $10. Veterans should contact the owners at (919) 986-8487 to learn about their military discount.

This local food truck is based out of Wake Forest and has a sporadic schedule. Check out their website and/or download their app for the most current news. They’re a solid choice to get your lobster fix. The lobster rolls are stuffed with lobster, and you’ll get a good amount for the price. Dinner won’t be cheap at this truck (though lobster never is), but you can rest assured it will be tasty!
